Wild Buck Shelter
A new shelter next to Mouse Manor in memory of Brad Buckley
In 1994, CEDA's work force, the Junior WoodcChucks, installed pole shelters in what was then labelled the T-2-1 area next to Mouse Manor, where younger or first year scouts could find program designed to help them achieve the 1st ranks in Scouting, Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class. In 2020, CEDA proposed a new permanent shelter be built in the area to improve the usefulness of the younger camper programs.
The shelter was dedicated in Memory of Brad Buckley, whose passion and enthusiasm for Scouting and Camp Eastman created a memorable experience for young scouters during the time he served as an instructor in the area.
